THe Long and Short of it is bechtol Can do it for you
Bechtol’s prowess as division winner at the 2016 United States Senior Long Driving Championship illustrates how he can embrace the grip-it-and-rip-it sensibility loved by so many golfers. But Bechtol also understand that long drives are meaningless unless they translate into scoring chances on the golf course.
To help golfers hone their skills from 143 yards and closer, Bechtol, along with Masters and U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth, have designed a six-hole short-game facility on four and a half acres of land at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin. The course has reduced-sized putting surfaces and bunkers patterned after some of the most famous green surrounds in golf. The tee boxes can be adapted to the individual’s needs, as well as the demands of the weather conditions and to regulate usage, and thus maintenance. The concept is also excellent for time-intensive outing that can drive new golfers and events to your course. It’s the right move to help golfers to improve and enjoy their game.
So that’s The Long and The Short of It – the world’s longest-hitting golf course architect designing courses and short-game facilities that change golfers skill levels and help grow the game.

The Short of It
Golf has been traditionally seen as a sport that
requires prior experience, high cost of entry, and
intimidating for newcomers. The 9 hole, par 3
introduces real elements of the golf game, at a
beginner level, your going to be able to enjoy the
sport without having to book a tee time and drive
a golf cart full of clubs around. The quaint 9 hole,
par 3 experience brings a new vibe to the game of
golf, with young generations caught up in a fast
paced world, this new pace of play attracts much
more first timers and hooks them in. With the
successes of places like Top Golf, the market is
seeing the trend to move towards more casual
play with music, food, and drinks on location.
